Logistics
Program is an Associate's Degree program that spans two years.
The aim of the Logistics program is to train professionals who are equipped
with contemporary knowledge and skills, capable of providing solutions in both
national and international business environments. Graduates will contribute to
the effective and efficient operations of public and private institutions,
ensuring that these organizations can adapt to the rapidly changing demands of
today’s world. The program prepares students to meet the qualifications
required in professional business settings, training them to be managers and
staff who can handle the challenges of modern work environments.
Students who successfully complete the program will gain a solid foundation
in the continuously evolving field of logistics, acquiring the necessary
knowledge and skills to keep up with industry trends. They will be able to use
professional terminology within the logistics sector and will have a comprehensive
understanding of logistics at the associate degree level.
Upon graduation, students will have a wide range of employment opportunities
in the logistics field, as the program addresses the industry's need for
qualified mid-level professionals. The logistics sector has three main
components: logistics service providers, logistics service users, and the
regulatory bodies that manage logistics operations.
Graduates of the program will be eligible for positions in various
organizations involved in logistics services, logistics operations, or
logistics regulation. Specifically, graduates will find opportunities in
manufacturing companies' supply procurement, purchasing, production, marketing,
and distribution departments. They can also work in the procurement, inventory,
and distribution departments of retail and service industry businesses.
Moreover, graduates who wish to further their education may take the
Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) organized by ÖSYM to pursue a bachelor's degree.
Upon successful completion of the DGS, students may continue their studies in
the following programs:

Transportation and Logistics, International Finance, International Finance and
Banking, International Logistics, International Logistics and Transportation,

Management of health institutions is a field related to the management and
organisation of institutions operating in the health sector. This department
aims to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to provide health services
effectively. The aim of the programme is to equip students in areas such as
business management of health institutions, financial management, human
resources management, marketing, quality management and health policies.
Students acquire the knowledge and skills to take an active role in the
planning, execution and evaluation of health services. This department aims to
provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the effective
provision of health services. During the education process, issues such as the
functioning of health institutions, patient satisfaction, quality and
cost-effectiveness of health services are emphasised. In addition, students are
provided with information about current developments and problems in the health
sector. Management of health institutions is a very important field considering
the ever-changing structure and increasing demand of health services. Graduates
of this department can work as managers or manager candidates in hospitals,
clinics, rehabilitation centres, pharmacies and other health institutions.
There are also career opportunities in areas such as health policy making,
health services planning and health economics. They can also contribute to
improving the quality of health services with an effective management approach
in the health sector. Students learn topics such as financial management of
health institutions, human resources management, marketing, strategic planning
and health policies. In addition, they can find career opportunities in areas
