Foreign Trade Program
Objective of the Associate Degree in Foreign Trade Program (Duration: 2 years)
The aim of the Associate Degree in Foreign Trade Program is to train qualified, specialized, and entrepreneurial professionals by equipping them with both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of foreign trade, which holds a significant place in the national economy. In this context, it is intended to strengthen the necessary human infrastructure for our country to gain a larger share of the world economy and achieve its economic goals.
Program Outcomes
Students who successfully complete the program will gain the theoretical and practical knowledge required by today's economy, possess professional skills suitable for sectoral expectations, and acquire knowledge at the associate degree level.
Employment Areas of the Program
Graduates of this program will have the same general rights as graduates of other associate degree programs and will have the opportunity to be employed in public institutions and organizations.
Especially, the major employment areas for graduates of this program, due to its nature, will predominantly be the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Undersecretariat of Treasury, Exporters' Associations, Customs Directorates, and all public and private institutions engaged in foreign exchange transactions.
Graduates who successfully complete this program and wish to do so may take the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM and continue their undergraduate education in the following bachelor programs:
International Business and Trade, International Trade and Logistics, Political Science and International Relations, International Finance and Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Banking and Insurance, Banking and Finance.
