Banking and Insurance Program Program Level: Associate Degree Program Duration: 2 years Program Objective: The primary aim of the Banking and Insurance Associate Degree Program is to train specialists equipped with knowledge in the fields of banking and insurance. Additionally, with appropriately prepared course and exam programs, the aim is also to prepare students for the exams conducted by units operating in the Capital Markets, banks, and insurance companies. Program Outcomes: Students who successfully complete the Banking and Insurance Program will gain the qualifications to serve as highly skilled workforce potential, contributing to the banking and insurance sectors. They will possess high communication skills, full confidence, and the qualities of being entrepreneurial and innovative experts who can follow the latest developments in the sector on national and international platforms. The Banking and Insurance sectors operating on an international scale will also be able to meet the need for qualified managers and assistant managers who are proficient in foreign languages and have received business education in a foreign language. Students will have the ability to rise to higher-level management positions over time, depending on their success and self-improvement, as they will receive not only information related to all business disciplines but also basic knowledge specific to banking or insurance. Employment Areas of the Program: Graduates of the program have the opportunity to work in public and private banks, insurance companies, capital market intermediary institutions, international auditing firms, public finance institutions, and similar organizations and establishments. Additionally, graduate students have the opportunity to work in all companies, SMEs, and financial institutions. Because the training to be provided has been determined to align with the working areas of real sector firms and financial companies.
